This morning Smudge took himself on a walkabout while we were all playing in the backyard, so Ben and I ventured to the front to see if we could find him. It was overcast and windy, so the streets were sprinkled with pink cherry blossom petals! Ben did an awesome job standing by himself for this picture... not that he really enjoyed being let go of, but he is much more agreeable to the whole standing alone thing when he has his shoes on.
Oh and Ben apparently can now kick a ball-- I have to hold his hands of course, but he totally swings his leg back and kicks. It only took one day! Must be all that watching soccer on tv with Dad. Who says tv is bad for babies... pshaw.
